Welcome to the PE page where we will post all photos, results and news from across the school.
As part of our school curriculum we aim to encourage physical activity throughout the day, starting with a daily mile as the children arrive at school in the morning. Parents and carers are welcome to join in!
During the school day PE lessons provide a variety of physical activities in order to develop co-ordination, body awareness, ball skills, teamwork, perseverance and sportsmanship. Each class is timetabled for regular PE lessons, which include gymnastics, dance and games. Children in Key stage 2 have timetabled swimming lessons.
In addition, we have a number of after school sports clubs which change on a seasonal basis.
Today we enjoyed coming to school in our Christmas jumpers and having a run around the playground with our class and teachers.

Resources to keep active
I just wanted to get in touch to share a great resource with you that the Sports Partnership Herefordshire & Worcestershire have created. They have a "Stay Active at Home" section on their website; something that will be crucial for our health and wellbeing in these next few weeks.
There are some great activities included that can easily be shared with pupils to do at home. https://www.sportspartnershiphw.co.uk/stay-active-at-home
