Year 3

Home Learning

Welcome year 3 to your new and improved home learning page.  You should find this much easier to navigate now.  All your resources for the week are organised into subjects and clearly labelled so you know which day to complete them.

Zoom links for your live lessons should also be sent out to your parents.  These links will remain the same this half term for your morning teaching and your afternoon sessions.

If you have any difficulty accessing any of the learning please contact me on year3@stgeorgesce.worcs.sch.uk or alternatively call the school office and I will be in touch as soon as possible. Printed packs are available; just let the office know if you need one so we can arrange collection.

Reading

You should be able to quiz using Accelerated Reader at home using this link: Accelerated Reader

Please try and make sure you are reading every day. If you have finished your reading book, or want something else to read go to:

Epic 

Login using our class code ivr4715 and select your name. You will then be able to access a huge library of e-books linked to Accelerated Reader. You can select your Accelerated Reader level on the website under the 'AR' tab. This is on your school bookmark.

Please note.

- This website only works for free during school hours. 

- The books are matched to your child's reading range using their AR level but not all books will be available to quiz on Accelerated Reader.

Chance to Shine - Cricket at home

The Chance to Shine 'Cricket at Home' series has been developed to support children to stay active whilst learning from home. This virtual programme which features short, clear instructional videos guiding pupils through fun and creative activities that require very little equipment and can be completed in homes with limited space.

The sessions all have accompanying guides for completing them.
