As part of UK Parliament Week, Debate Club took part in a competition on Friday afternoon against six other local schools where we had to debate against another team on the topic ‘Public transport should be free for everyone’. The competition was judged by the Mayor of Worcester, our local MP Tom Collins and a representative from the charity Voices 21. We were so proud of how our children spoke, showing real enthusiasm, consideration and maturity. Their behaviour was impeccable throughout and they held their own against some tough competition!
